Why Call Us to Find Your Pool Leak?

Arizona's dry climate and high water costs make even a small slow leak costly over time. Whether you've noticed unusually high water bills, auto-fill running constantly, or wet patches around your deck, these can all point to a leak that needs professional attention

What We Do & How We Do It

Our approach is rooted in best‑in‑class equipment and techniques:

  • Electronic Listening Devices / Hydrophones: We use acoustic tools and leak correlators to “listen” for water escaping in plumbing lines or around fittings and skimmers.
  • Pressure Testing: Pressurizing plumbing lines helps isolate hidden subsurface leaks and confirm integrity.
  • Dye Testing: We inject dye near suspected spots—such as return jets, main drains, or tile lines—to visually trace leaks hidden in the shell or seal points .

These methods allow us to accurately pinpoint leaks without unnecessary digging or drilling.

Common Leak Locations

Most residential pool leaks we encounter here in Arizona occur in:

  • Underground plumbing and return lines
  • Skimmer and return fittings
  • Cracks in the shell, tile lines, skimmers and auto levelers.
  • Light niches, main drains, and equipment connections.

What to Expect from Our Service

  1. Prompt scheduling—Most services begin within 24–48 hours.
  2. Professional inspection using the tools above to accurately measure and locate the leak.
  3. Clear pricing and explanation—We explain what’s causing the issue and provide an honest estimate for repairs or next steps.
  4. Minimal disruption—We'll restore the area (and typically clean after work), so your pool area looks as good or better when we leave.
  5. Follow‑up tests—After any repairs, we re‑test to confirm the leak is fully resolved.

The Bucket Test for Pool Leaks

Think your pool might be leaking? Before calling the pros, try the bucket test — a simple way to tell if you're losing water from a leak or just evaporation.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Fill your pool to normal level.
  2. Turn off your auto leveler
  3. Get a 5-gallon bucket and fill it with pool water all the way to the top.
  4. Place the bucket on the first step of your pool. Make sure it's stable and the water level inside the bucket is higher than the pool level to keep it in place
  5. Mark the water levels inside the bucket and on the outside (pool level).
  6. Leave it for 24–48 hours with the pump running  (don’t swim during the test if possible).
  7. Compare the two water levels and take readings to see if the pool has dropped more than the bucket.

What to look for:

  • If both levels dropped the same, it’s likely just evaporation.
  • If the pool water dropped more than the bucket, you may have a leak.
